Last month, MEP centers from across the country convened in Chicago for the 2022 Center for Best Practices Conference. Center members spent a week learning and sharing best practices and equipping themselves to better support manufacturers throughout the country.
DVIRC was proud to have the opportunity to present “Supply Chain 101” at the conference. Supply Chain 101 is the MEP National Network’s first and only learn-and-apply supply chain workshop built from right-sizing best practices for sales, inventory, and operations planning.
Chris Scafario, Sylvia Wower, and Nico de Sousa Serro shared this innovative new program and talked about some of the exciting work DVIRC is doing to support supplier scouting and promote supply chain resiliency for manufacturers and distributors.
Special thanks to the Foundation for Manufacturing Excellence and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) MEP network for organizing the conference and thank you to all the speakers who shared best practices.
